If you are reading this recipe, you are looking to learn how to cook the perfect steak so it stays tender, juicy, and full of flavor.
This guide focuses on the method rather than the seasoning. That's why we use a simple salt and pepper recipe to demonstrate the proper cooking technique.

You'll need:
- 200 g / 7 oz Rib Eye, New York Strip or Sirloin steak (preferably organic grass-fed)
- 4 mushrooms
- 2 corn on the cob
- 10 g butter
- Kosher salt or sea salt flakes
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 3 tbsp MYST Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp chopped celery
Marinating :
Rub the steak generously with MYST Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and season well with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Cover with plastic wrap or aluminum foil.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Corn on the Cob :

- Preheat the oven to 250°C.
- Brush the corn with butter.
- Season with a pinch of sea salt.
- Add a pinch of freshly ground black pepper.
- Bake at 220°C for 20–25 minutes.
Cooking the Steak
Heat 3 tablespoons of MYST Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a frying pan.
Place the steak in the hot pan and cook for about 5 minutes for medium-rare or 8 minutes for medium-well.
Add:
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 sliced mushrooms
- 1 tbsp chopped celery
Finally, place 10 g of butter on top of the steak and let it melt while the steak finishes cooking.
